what we do
Our upcycled stuff is scrappy. Literally... Made from scraps of upcycled clothing. Nothing is perfect... just like our moms in the 70's would make. They sorta had an idea... They were given sewing machines by their mothers. They took a home-ec class. My mom made a shirt we couldn't get our heads in. She sewed patches on torn knees and put ribbons and trim everywhere. It was the age of matching sets with animals on them so you knew what to wear together. It was clothing we played in until the street lights came on.
In the age of AI & perfection.. We just want to go back to that. To silly stitching, patterns that are questionable together, to clothing that represents real life. A little off, a little imperfect, a lot unique. So if you are looking for clothing that won't age after washes, that's impeccably constructed, we aren't for you.
